Guidelines for using images for assignments

How to develop an assignment using images

In a literature class, students may have no idea of what the setting of the story looks like. Students could each examine a different aspect of the material culture and/or built environment of a particular literary piece, and share images with other students showing clothing styles, the landscape or built environment where the story takes place, etc.
